High School Preparation
It goes without saying that you need to do well in high school if you want to get into a selective college. But Williams—like other top colleges—is interested in more than just good grades. We’re looking for a combination of challenge and achievement, competitive scores on standardized examinations, and evidence of strong interests and involvement in activities beyond the strictly intellectual realm.

The basic formula: get outstanding grades in tough courses. Challenge yourself and excel.
